I tried to pay the piper. Those MasterCard commercials are full of shit.

Ever get that feeling that something's following you around? No matter where you turn, what you're doing, there it is? It's even worse when it's something you don't want in your head in the first place. Grr.

Today went WAY too fast, which is also really annoying. I played a shit round of golf, but still managed to win (and thanks to sauk for the mid-round snack) and of course it beats the hell out of working. Here's to being in Camden early tomorrow morning...

I'll take a Mulligan.

A little adventure never hurt anybody, and that's why we decided to speed off to the liquor store at 9:37 tonight. We rolled in basically as the door was being locked, and the fine workers were kind enough to help us out. After that it was smooth sailing, beers, and rock band.

Tomorrow should be a nice, albeit short, break from work on the golf course. I told my boss I have somewhere important to be.

I guess there's too much swirlin around in the 'ole dome right now to actually put anything meaningful down, so that's it for tonight.

Four.

Post 2: Electric Blogaloo.

We went and saw Step Brothers tonight and it was way better than I was expecting. But, that quick the weekend's over and it's starting to look like an all-nighter with a deliverable report for the army due sometime tomorrow afternoon. So far I've put more effort into watching Brit comedies than actually doing any work, but that's how this sort of thing usually pans out.

On another note, July and the Summer are both on their way out, which is unbelievable. Just a few short months ago I was in another place completely, and now I've got a new job and a host of positive things going on. I'm starting to feel like I'm actually checking off some accomplishments too which is great. It's a shame some things went sour but hey, that's life.

Good night to those of you who sleep, and greetings to those who don't.

Lords of Blogtown

So, this is my blog. I figure it's a good way for me to keep from coming completely insane (or at least document the rest of the trip there). I can't really think of too much to say at the moment, I think the 150+ miles on my bike this week combined with no sleep and hitting a large number of golf balls today have caught up with me. So if you're wondering:

-Yes, my butt hurts
-Yes, I can drive a golf ball 250+ yards (and follow up with a 2+ yard attempt)
-Yes, I've actually got a few new ideas for my research
-Yes, there's a ton of shit flying around in my head right now

That's it for now. Time to go read Watchmen and space out for a bit. Enjoy stalking me creeps.
